Just found this site and was looking for information on how safe bananas were for my horses. My husband wanted to see if Dini would eat one and she loved it! I've been sharing one with her everyday since, about 6 weeks. I figured any flavor that is available on the lik-it (stall toy) menu was probably safe for them to eat. Also have been looking up what plants are safe for consumption in my area for them (Maine). Seems all my trees and gardens have to go..... Oaks, red maples and cherries....I found were all pretty deadly to horses and my property is covered with them. Any suggestions?
