Found your google blog *smacks forehead* don't know why I didn't try clicking on your name before! I tried copying and pasting but it was not working for me.

I prefer the google blog so I'll probably mostly read there. I find it more "user friendly". My blog is on there too. I'm just learning this whole blogging thing so it's nothing fancy. Basically just day to day stuff with the horses.

No kidding...I can spend the extra time to throw on an english saddle (and change clothes cause you just can't ride in an english saddle for a long time in wranglers) or I can can work it in a western saddle and suffer the consequences. Oh well...its just kinda fun to do it again!

Thanks for the luck - we'll either work it out together or we won't I guess I have done almost all I can, its up to him now.

You couldn't have said it better - that's why even though its not the fanciest thing in the world I LOVE my trailer.

You know and if you riding to shows with others as I used to do before I had any trailer, its REALLY nice to have some personal space. I don't mind carpooling to a show every now and then, but I really enjoy myself more if I have some space to myself. You can get away if people are being weird, or hide if you need to and you know exactly where everything is.

I can't wait to finally have enough saved up for my own trailer. While sometimes it's nice to have someone haul your horse, it's also nice not to have to worry about having to rely on someone else and if you want to go to a show on your own, you have the means and freedom to.

Ah, yes. I've started riding English again after piddling around on my all around horse for the past 5 years while I finished up school. Nothing like working HUS in a western saddle, eh? Now, I've made it a goal to ride atleast once a week in an English saddle. Fortunately, my horse is a packer and doesn't care while I work on getting my legs back in the shape they need to be.

I hear you on the non-horse hubby frustrations. Sometimes (well, most of the time), they just don't get it. I will say, that fortunately, mine has come a long way and has just accepted the fact that horses are just a part of my life. Good luck to you.
