Just thought I'd post my poem about my boy, Apaches 
Apaches, My Special Friend
My many prayers were answered when
I met you on that day.
How could I help but love you so,
when you looked at me that way?
Every time I see your face,
my heart melts right away,
because you are my special horse
and my love for you will never fade.
God's very special gift of love,
that is what you are to me.
We ride away in the summer breeze,
not a single care as we ride free.
Apaches, what a special horse,
so sweet and ever dear.
And who could help but love you
with that smiley on your rear?
Even though you're not so young,
I don't really care.
'Cause I shall always love you
and we will always be a pair.
Apaches, oh, my precious boy,
forever we shall be,
horse and rider together,
and in my heart you'll always be...
