Pretty Palomino

My beautiful Golden retreiver died two days ago. He was 9 yrs. old. I miss him so much! He was my friend,my roundup helper, my trail buddy and one of my families pride and joy's. He's in heaven with the Lord so he isn't in anymore pain but he isn't with us anymore. You will be sorely missed, my Baby Boy.

Oh,man! It rocked! I got in two lessons and my horse was an angel.She was totally focused and never gava me guff. I was kinda of wondering why she would be that nice, But...If it isn't broke don't fix it.And it is not like she is little brat all the time...it's just that she responded to every cue perfectly. Now if she would only do that when my friends are around.

I dug out my saddle and my gear and went for a ride. Mind you,it wasn't very long,but it was a ride!!! It was so wonderful, it made up for the fact that I spent the rest of the afternoon lying on the couch in pain. AAAHH!!!! Horses... Chocolate...Aspirins.... a woman's best friend!!!!

It's so gorgeous and it better stay that way. I want to go on a trailride this weekend. How about everybody write a blog on their sunny trailride this weekend.I'm going to write about mine.

The rain is finally letting up and I lunged my horse for the first time in 4 months. Maybe next weekend I can ride. If of course we don't a torrential downpour. AGAIN!!!

I am taking this space up with my complaint about all the stinkin' dadblamed,stupid,excessive,drowning RAIN!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I hate it I hateit because I cannot ride I cannot even get outside without being soaked!!!!

I am tired of not being able to get information on real living in eastern Oregon. Particularly about the baker county and surrounding areas. I want to know from people who make a living over there out in the country. How do people deal with snakes riding in the heat and how do you deal with the weather over there! And what about low income rate?(fact or fiction?) Is there anybody out there with any info PLEASE??!!! 

I want to start an equestrian center for abused and unwanted horses and that includes the Mustangs! I want ifo from peolpe who have had mustangs and people who have run rescues! HELP!!!!
