Sounds like a lot of fun. Love the videos, too! Solo looks very handsome in his Sunset halter, too.

Hee hee, thanks!!!  Actually, 3 horses in our group were in Sunset halter/bridles -- you can see Stormy the paint in her red one in the group pic, and Pete has one that he wears when being ridden.  Stormy and Pete's mums were jealous when they saw Solo's and so they had to have one!  I have another barn buddy that got a grey one for her boy and Maggie's mum is saving up for one too -- I swear, I should get a commission for marketing these things!!!

Great pics!  Doncha just love the beach! We go camping every year at a horse camp near the ocean, only no gentle waves lapping at the beach... the  horses have learned that sometimes water chases you!

Hahahhah -- that would be funny -- this wasn't the ocean, this is the mouth of the Neuse River where it meets the Pamlico Sound, so still salty, but no big waves.  We want to do a trip to ride the Outer Banks, but will need a longer weekend!

Great pics Solaris! I like the one where Solo found out the ocean water wasn't very tasty.

What a beautiful place to be! A horsey vacation (sighs) The photos and videos are great - I especially like the first one The blue color is so serene as it blends from the river to the sky...ahhh.. It looks like lovely place to be. If you can straighten the horizon line, it will be the perfect picture to hang on your wall. (Or I can fix it for you - if you'd like)

Was there something like an equine resort over there? Or did you board your horses at a stable nearby?

LOL -- no, resort.  The closest place to stay is about 45 mins to an hour away, but they have cabins and stalls for overnight, plus trails, so we rode there, then trailered over to the beach Sunday morning.  This place is in the middle of NOWHERE, but they hope to have horse camping facilities someday.  Even the trails are fairly new, maybe within the last year or so.
