I didn't for the longest time! Then I started more out of default since there weren't any particularly great stations. Now I can say that there are several songs I do really like! But I do listen to almost every genre out there....

    Rodney Adkins sings that.

He's also the one who sings about the little boy watching his dad and wanting to be just like him.

I can't say that I listen to country but I like different varieties of music as long as it is creative, has feeling and talent. Although I have to say most songs I listen to are rock (60's 70's 80's hard rock, glam rock- I just can't stand the "so-called rock" out ther nowadays with practically no creativity, just a bunch of people jumping around in their guitars and have no idea whatsoever how to play it) , blues (naturally), classic music and a combination of any of these which really make for some interestiong listening. hmm.. now I feel like listening to malmsteen's concerto.. off I go!

OH YES I DO!!! I also think that western riders are ALOT more common to be listening to country. I listed to country when i ride, it seems to pump me up. It has such a message...every country song I've ever heard says something.....it's not just screaming...or just words.....i love it so much. Some songs get me a little emotional, and 2 of my favortie songs gets me through the rough times.....it's nuts I don't know who sings it or even what it's called...but the song...If you're going through hell.....{you know} keep on moving don't slow down, face that fire walk right through it.

I can never get enough country...I love it so much. The songs always make me feel better or make me feel stronger. and then theres the just PLAIN FUN ONES!! and the sad ones which are nice to.

some of my favorites....Brad Paisley, carrie underwood, kenny chesney, reba, martina mcbride, taylor swift, sugar land, keith urban, toby keith, ...I could list several more!!! =)

I can't believe it I LOVE BRAD PAISLEY AND TAYLOR SWIFT! They are my favorites. I like letter to me it goes.....Ohhh you got so much goin for yah goin right. But I know at seventeen it's hard to see past fridaynight.

I was raised listening to country, so it is definitely in my 'roots'!!

However, I am very eclectic though, and listen to alot of other music as well, including Contemporary Christian, Celtic, Classical etc.

I don't really listen to alot of muisc but I like country becuase you can sing to it and it's understandable! Doesn't have that screaming or wailing effects. I dont' mind variety though rock, classical ect but no rap please just can't stand that stuff.

On another site for dogs we say OMD (Oh my dog) so I just thought Oh my horse would be suitable for here.

Re: Do you really listen to country music?

I voted No because I wouldn't say I'm a fan of country music - rock music is more my style.  Having said that though, I do have a couple of country songs (or at least songs by country singers) on my iPod.
