Of course, you can take it. If you like, I can send you on mail full size picture, and then you can photoshop Peter off :D

No no, leave him in, he is part of what makes the picture great!  If you want to email me a full size version, I'd love to have it -- shadowfx01@yahoo.com.

I agree that is a beautiful picture and Peter is integral part of what it conveysAngel

That looks like a winning photo for an amateur photo contest to me.

I don't know what Kodak pays these days, but I sure would think about entering that pictureYes

Just finished reading your posts and really enjoyed it. A horse can bring so much pleasure to a person's life.

At the ripe old age of 62, I recently purchased a new horse, a Rocky Mountain mare, hopefully, she will be with me until I die. LOL. Over the years, I have had 3 Tennessee Walkers and lost my last one the same year that my husband died, 4 years ago. I didn't know whether I would ever want another one but as the years passed by, I found myself wanting another horse(not another husband) lol. So, I made the plunge and am enjoying every minute of having her around.

I hope you keep us updated on your horse and post more pics. of him.

AnnaCrew, I just found this thread tonight and have been riveted by the entire story.  I feel like I just read a short story and don't want it to end.  Your photos are beautiful as well.  Love the one of Shella and Puika.  You should enter some of your photos in an equestrian photo contest.  You tell great stories with your pictures as well as your words.  I also really love the last one from the first day Peter rode Puika.  How are things going now?  Are the two of you riding together down those charming country roads?  Would love to hear how the story is progressing.  So glad you came here and shared your story with all of us.
