Thanks everyone. Cassie's been stuck in a stall at her old barn so Im going to give her a few days to be a horse and hang out, then she will be put to work. She was SOO happy to be out in a paddock. She ran up and down her paddock for about ten minutes today. I've rode her once before when she wasn't in a program and she was okay. She's basically had a year of training put on her and has really changed. This last year and a half was the first year that she has been in a steady program being worked five days a week. She's been to a few rated shows and has placed in the hunters. I compete jumpers so we will see how she does. She's been to a million schooling shows and her owner takes her camping in the mountains a lot, so she's broke ti death. It will be interesting having a mare. I've always been a gelding person, so getting to know her these next few months shall be interesting. I will try to get a few pics of her under saddle here in a few days.
With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we could not bear to lose you, We could not bid you to stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working feet were laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that He only takes the best.
