    Hair care product discovery!

OMG!!  I've had this stuff in my bathroom for months but never got around to trying it.  I know I said my hair is helmet-proof now, and it is, but it does kind of go flat.  I just came in from mucking after morning naps (don't ask), and I'd been wearing my cowboy hat since it was raining out.  I have a party to go to this afternoon and didn't really want to wash my hair.  I figured I had nothing to lose, so I squirted some of the stuff on my hands and just ran my fingers through my hair.  Honest, it looks like I just stepped out of the hairdresser's!

It's by SAMY (I have no idea what that stands for) and the product is called "Icing" hair restyler.  My hair is stick-straight in the front and curly in the back, and it worked on both without disturbing my terribly elegant (cough, choke) blow-dried look at all.

Just figured it was worth sharing.  I can't vouch for how it works on snot-crusted hair, but if it's reasonably clean (brush the dust and hay dirt out first), it should be just fine.  Big Smile

Thanks for sharing. Where did you get the magic potion?lol. I'm gonna have to buy some of that. It's funny how things come up right as your leaving the barn and you don't have time to take a shower. This stuff sounds great.

Dukey, I got it at a local chain discount store--Harmon Drug--but I'm sure it's available elsewhere.  It's especially good for women like me who own the farm.  I'm in and out of the barn a dozen times a day.  And it never fails that someone manages to break a leg strap or a fence board (Zip, are you listening??) just as I'm on my way out and it's inevitably pouring rain.  I've got Rosie's Coveralls (another super product) to protect my clothes, but my hair was pretty much a disaster.  Confused  Now I can go out looking as if I've actually spent time caring about my appearance.  People respond to me better when I don't look as if I narrowly escaped being dragged away by a tornado.

BTW, I also found John Frieda's "Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier" hair spray, which does a passable job of keeping my hair from turning into a poorly-pruned shrub.

Thanks for the tip. I should look at the stores by me and see if they have it.
