I think...........you suck!     Nah, you will love KY, I still consider it my home state even though I wasn't born there.  Weather is nice, lots of grass, very horsey, lots of pretty places to visit.  Is your place close to Morehead St U?  I'm volunteering at WEG, or at least I signed up for it, maybe I'll have to come say hi.  I'll probably stay with mum, since our house is only 45 mins from KHP, but hopefully can steal her car! 

I sure can't wait! We'll definately have to meet when you come for WEG! We'll be going to watch at least, and you're welcome to come meet our horses! The house on the top of our list (the second one posted) is south and a little to the west of Lexington.

I'm also signed up to volunteer at WEG, I'll be in touch! lol  Actually it sounds like we're going through this together -- we should be hearing back from the bank re. the mortgage tomorrow, and will then be putting in the offer on our new place right away.  I hate this part, too nerve wracking!!!  Ours won't have a barn, though.

Don't you just wish that we could get a house like Jessie is looking at for the kind of price they are asking for it!!! We'd probably have to pay at least double if not triple for a few acres and a barn!!!

Hee hee, yeah, one thing I miss about KY is that it is cheap!  None of that here in NC, that is for sure!

That is crazy, there are places for sale everywhere here in In. Guess they don't need to make a sale very bad huh lol. I don't know how things are in KY but here you can go online to the county court house website then go to the assessors section type in address or name and get basic info on a house. I did that for a family member who was house searching. I love looking at houses etc. I'm a wannabe real estate agent haha.

Guess what, the third one got back to me, WAHOOO! :) Ok, I only contacted her yesterday, but the others had a week or more!

Jessi - Sorry you are having a problem with real estate agents.  My niece and her husband had a terrible time recently selling their home because the real estate agent was such an idiot.  I guess there are some in every profession along this the general decline in people caring about the job that they do.

Have you tried United Country realtors? Or Century 21?  Ask to speak with the broker or office manager if you aren't getting the proper response.  Individual agents are sometimes in and out.  Small, independent realtors are often more motivated to assist you if you are serious, but may lack the resources or connections outside of their limited area.

Hang in there.  I am sure the perfect place is out there.

Well that sucks!  I hope someone gets back to you soon. I understand how frustrating that must be.

It's all systems go here.  The house is finished. Had the home inspector go over it Tuesday.  I've got my final walk through Thursday night. Eric has got me power of attorney so I can attend the closing and sign his life away on Friday morning and then in the afternoon I drive to Austin because we're migrating our Austin office to a new system and I need to be there for that.

Argggggg.   Too much going on all at the same time!!
