    Jumping videos!

I tend to close my hip angle a little early, so I look a little snappy over fences, but I'm working on it. lol

Oh and don't critique my horse, anything under 3'6" he just kinda canters over and doesn't really give it much effort. Plus he's a jumper so he's kind of a cruddy mover.

skinny to diagonal single, long approach to an airy oxer. The oxer is really hard to see

wow - I love your energy - and beautiful rhythym...Linus makes it look like a cake walk.

I would love to see you sit deeper on Linus in between jumps.

I am not a jumper - and never will attempt anything but a spring puddle !! So I don't have the right to critique.

But  I can tell Linus has a strong canter with a lot of vertical motion.  Kudos to you for containing his energy and directing it over the jumps.

Thumbs up!  Release more and wait a bit more in the air, you almost come down in the middle of the jump.  I love your leg!

    Re: Jumping videos!

Vid 1: you need to sit on your horse more, you are bobbing up and down, and you horses head is popped up.  really sit on him and drive to the base of the fence and let him lift you.  also you are sitting on his back in midair.

Vid 2: again the bobbing.  move your hands with him more, they should give and not stay in the same place all the time.

you have a good heel and great leg, but you need to stay up more.  when I feel myself dropping back I'll grab a little mane or push my hands into her neck so I stay up

pic:  see how you are dropping back?   its slight, and easily fixed.
otherwise, very very nice keep up the good work!

First off, your horse has a beautiful rhythm! He's really pretty too!
It would be more beneficial to sit deeper in your seat before the jump. Also, I noticed, you should give Linus more of an automatic release! Good job though!

    Re: Jumping videos!

You need to deepen your seat more on the flat when you're cantering, and you need to stay over longer over the jumps so you don't sit down on him so early.
