Well, bidding opened today and they have added more! Considering they are talking about killing the ones that they can't afford to care for, I would think that they would have a lot more listed, but any way....
I just love the look of # 3209, but there wasn't much info on the site about him. So, I contacted Steve Mantle and this is what he said...
"He appears to be straight and correct in his legs, has a nice big hip and a good sloping front shoulder, travels smoothly and has never shown any signs of lameness since he has been here... "
"that colt came in here to the ranch about a month ago, we have not worked with him other then to put him in the pens (12x12) and get him started eating oats. He is very calm and seems to be easy going."
I am so bummed that they closed the holding facilty in TN and MS. Now the closest pick places are IL and OK which I can not manage. But in the interest of helping this horse find a home, I thought that I would share Steve's info. I hope someone can give this boy a good home. He looks like he is going to be sturdy.
Just curious though, do cremellos have a tendency to be deaf like a lot of white horses?
