Yikes! Poor Scout!! Has he ever had a reaction like that before to liniment. I don't often use it on Annapolis and on the occasions I have used it, thank goodness he hasn't had a reaction. Kudos to you for remaining calm and doing what needed to be done. I would have been freaking out. Looking at that list of ingredients, I don't think it's anything I want to put on my horse anyway. He's done without it this long, he can go on going without. I'm glad Scout is on the mend. Great photos, by the way :)
I had a great weekend, even if I was slaving away sealing the tile at our new house for part of it. I started out with a little bottle and roller, sealing each individual line of grout, but after a couple of hours, and only getting one small bathroom done, and looking at the sea of tile yet to be done, I decided to get some tile/stone sealer and just go over the whole floor instead of dinking around just doing the grout. Was able to get most of it done in one afternoon. Just have a small hallway left that Ididn't do last night because I didn't want to seal myself into a corner and get stuck there.
When I was taking a break from the sealing, I spent some time sitting out in our new garden and it's an absolute haven - we have a tree in our yard and there are 6 six trees on the other side of the wall, so I can sit on the patio and watch all kinds of birds up in the trees. Very peaceful.
Saturday morning I rode Annapolis, he felt great and solid enough to even do some cantering. He was on his best behaviour and didn't buck once (which was good because people were watching). On Sunday morning, I did some ground driving with Star, which she hasnt done in a while because we didn't have room at Dee's. Just as well no one was around to see that though, cuz she was a pill. Still, we'll get her back into it.
