I love the way she moves!  Does she have anything wrong comformationaly?  I would want to do low level dressage and jumping, as well as a little bit of western.  Do you think she is a good price? (price includes her 2008 colt but they will sell her without him)

I couldn't look at the videos but from the pictures something about her hind end looks a little funny, too small maybe, I'm not sure.  Might just be my opinion. I would wait for more opinions

I like her, BUT.. watching the second video, she appears to be one that will be hard to catch. That really annoys me. It wouldn't stop me from buying a good horse, but it would put an equal horse above her in my mind.

Oooh, she's a grey! Get her! Lol! Just kidding. Can't offer much critiquing since I can't watch videos at work and her pictures make it hard to really judge her.

I like the mare and if she were for sale in my area I would look at her as an endurance prospect for about 1/2 of their price. The fact that she is bred would be a negative and not a plus to me as a riding horse.

What I am seeing is a green horse who does not have a clue about using her rear. That is what the other posters are seeing too. She is toned and muscled in the forehand but not the rear. The 2nd video with her and the young bay really shows a difference. The bay is naturally reaching up under his self and she is not.

So if you wanted to make her into a dressage (or endurance horse for that matter) it will take at least a year of training to get her to do what the bay is doing naturally.

Because she is bred you will loose almost a year of riding with her too.

Also remember there is always the chance she can die foaling.

So......if you are willing to put a lot of time and effort into her she is decent just not with the natural balance some other horses have.

 Her colt was born last month, so she can be ridden right now.  I though dressage was to train a horse to use it's hind legs?  I would not be competing for a long time so I would not mind if it took a long time for her to learn to use them.  Wouldn't a naturaly talented, already broke horse cost a lot more?

Each area is different. I did a search on dreamhorse and for 3+ year olds in my area for less then 1000 it came up with over 350 within a 75 mile radius.

There is almost no market now. It looks like this mare has been for sale from at least October. In my area she would not even be looked at unless she was under 1000.

I have a 13 yr old mare that I rode competitive, has won CMO rides, does 2nd and 3rd level dressage, spins, does rollbacks and poles and barrels. I have her for sale (divorce) for 900. She is traffic and trail safe, my 12 year old can ride her. Really nice balanced responsive mare.

There are lots of horses still priced at the old prices but unless they ind a greenhorn sucker they are not selling for those prices anymore.

Well trained well loved horses are being given away or selling for a few hundred.
