    Jayne -

I don't have a reply button anymore.  There is a 'Quick Reply' at the bottom of the post, but where the 'Reply' used to be in 'In reply to' now.  Where did it go?  There isn't a 'Reply' button on the first post either.

    Thanks!

Has it disappeared on all threads, or one in particular?

    All threads.

ETA: Ok, since I posted and then I edited I noticed I now have my 'buttons' back for reply and everything.  I don't know if you did anything between my posting and this editing, but it's working.

p.s. I'm not crazy...I promise it wasn't working. Big Smile

    Nope - didn't do anything.

Were you on another computer, or using a different browser maybe? Sometimes just a simple reboot will clear up problems like that.

Anyway, glad it's working now and hope it stays that way!

I just posted a new topic on getting pix on a post with a Mac. I am unable to do so. I that a problem, or just part of a system not set up well for Macs?

I'm on a Mac myself, and I've never really figured out how to do it.  I managed to do it once or twice, by posting the image on my personal website and then pasting the url of the image within my post.  But it's not quite that simple and usually when you do that, you just get a link.

I'll forward your other post to the admin guys and see if they have an answer for us.

There seems to be a problem with ES displaying properly on IE7. Photos are not appearing in posts and the mouse roll-over on the chat icon no longer shows who's in chat. Both work fine with FireFox browser. Somebody been doing some "tweaking" again? ~FH

FH - I had forwarded your note on to the tech guys and Nathan hasn't been able to replicate the problem. I don'thave IE& myself, so I can't see what's happening.  Do you happen to remember which thread(s) you were seeing the missing images in? Let me know so he can do some more digging to see what's causing it.

Re: How to report performance issues and critical errors

The problem has apparently "corrected itself" since my post, Jayne. But it DID exist for several days. The photos in question were posted by Ropin Reins in OTW, Friends of rr thread. She had linked them from Photobucket and some could see them, others (myself included) could not... unless I went to the Firefox browser. The mouse roll-over on the chat icon has also started working again, too. Must've been a global warming issue.... but thanks for looking into it. ~FH

Ohhhh, so it was RopinReins' fault -- I might have guessed.  LOL

Please post on this thread if it happens again (I actually mis-spoke in my last post, *I* didn't forward the post to the tech guys, they monitor this thread too and they had seen it and responded to me with their findings)

Re: How to report performance issues and critical errors

Just reviving this thread so it doesn't get lost. Things seem to be running pretty smoothly in the forums right now -- no one had reported any issues here since May, which is why this thread had disappeared from your radars Wink

If anyone has a problem, something not working etc. please continue to post in this thread as it is monitored by myself as well as the Tech Gods - er, guys.

I'm sure you probably noticed, but there was some MAJOR spamming going on this morning. I tried the "report abuse" button on several of the offending threads, but i got the "forum not found" message. I saw earlier in this thread that was a problem. The spammers have been out in full force lately, what a shame!!!

Yes, I saw that this morning. I think I deleted all those posts now.

    Thanks

Just a minor thing, but I've noticed that the "Forums" link off the main ES page doesn't take me here any more.  It takes me to the Community page where I have to select the forum tab.  Not a big thing, but an extra step that wasn't there last week.

That was actually my suggestion. I had never really paid attention to where that link was going, but when I realized, I felt that  bringing folks directly in here meant that they missed the Community homepage, where we put important announcements. as well as recent forum posts, photos,  blogs etc.   I hope you don't mind the extra click, or you could, if you wanted to, just bookmark the forums page and use that to come in directly.
