Wonderful pics.  I'm so glad you got Miss Kitty.  She's adorable, I love her and want to hug her! LOL

 Lily looks a sweetheart too.

First progress report:

Today Lily came up to me every time I came in the pen.  I was able to rub her face, neck and chest and put a lead on her for a minute just to see if I could.  She is so sweet and she decided she does like pop tarts, lol.

Miss Kitty is still really standoffish but she came up to me a few times with Lily.  No touching but she got really close.  I got the training stick thingy that I used to touch the others with the first time and tried to touch her with it.  She ran from me but she did get curious and finally touched it on her own.

They have several toys in their pen to play with now, a 64" fitness ball, several flags, a gallon MSM bottle with noisemakers inside for them to roll around and several gallon jugs hanging from the fence for them to push around.

I leave for Jesses first thing in the morning but I will give you an update when I get back.

Aw, both the girls look like they're settling in well.  Love lil Miss Pretty Kitty and her Roman nose.  My Vannah has a Roman nose, too, but sadly her head is not little and cute like Miss Kitty's , LOL.  Drive carefully up to Jessi's - we expect a full report ;)

Ooo, I REALLY like that little grey, she is a nice looking horse!

Miss Kitty and Lily both look very sweet.  I'm looking forward to training updates.  I'd love to see a pic of the pen with the toys in it.  Do they really "play" with them?

Thanks for sharing the pics. Who would have guessed that sweet-looking timid gray mare on her auction page would turn out to be such a fine and refined lady?  She looks like there's no end to what she can do - I'm so glad you guys recognized that and brought her out of that holding pen.  And what a bonus that she's smart and willing!  You all will make great ambassadors to the Mustang Adoption program - I just know it.

 And Ms. Kitty's roman nose ?  Here in the draft horse country of central PA, you come to love and appreciate those big noses :)  They're usually attached to very sweeeeeet hearts :) 

Blue:  I left at 5 am Saturday morning and I got back from Jesse's last night (Monday) about 10:30.  Confetti is such a sweetheart.  I love her already and my Mom and Grandma are both smitten too.

Flakemusic:  I am going to start halter training her this week.  She should take to it pretty easily.  I will kepp you updated.

Solo:  Thanks I have to agree, Anni made an excellent choice!  She is beautiful and has floaty movement and she collects herself effortlessly when she moves.  I know that does not always tranfer over under saddle but I am having a little faith (pun intended) that it will with her.

NWB:  I will try to get pics of the toys tomorrow.  And yes they do play with them.  Especially the noisemakers.  They flattened the MSM bottle.

SBW:  Thanks!  I think they are cute too but I am biased.  I really like Miss Kitty's ears too. 

Lwilliams:  In person I think Lily has an Andalusian like look to her.  I cant wait to see what she will look like in a few months with good feed and exercise. 

Actually I really like Miss Kittys nose.  It fits her well even though it is not the popular look.

I was so tired I barely got up in time for work today so didn't take any this morning but I will try to get some pics of Fetti and Ty in the morning.  Ty loves her.  Followed her all over this morning trying to get her to play.  Then they shared breakfast without fighting.

I have some videos but I cant get them to upload to photobucket because they are too long.  I have to figure out how to use youtube.
