I will be bringing my laptop to Houston (I leave tomarrow) and should be able to use it. But if you guys need to get me for a change or something, Amber has my phone number, but I also get emails to cheyautranch @ yahoo.com (minus spaces) to my phone (unless they manage to get to my spam folder instead... so if I don't reply then you might need to send it again lol)

I updated the blog again, Lily's blood tests came back normal! It feels like such a big weight off of my shoulders. I can't wait to start working with her more.

I'm glad for her, too, because I could tell that those last couple of days she was going a little stir-crazy. Even though she had a lot of space to run around, I think she wanted to DO something. Of course, now that she's finally ready I can't use our round pen, which is what I wanted to start off working with her in, because it's a bit underwater with all the rain we've had. 

It rained her yesterday and today too.  It is muddy and nasty and the mosquitos are horrible.  Hopefully it will dry out quickly since it has been so dry.

Victoria is quite a ways west of me.  We just got lots of rain and it woke up the little vampires

Had a lot of fun seeing Amber again, meeting all her critters and Jayne! Had fun riding!

Jayne, sorry about getting us lost on the way home haha! But it was worse: My cell phone battery died, and then the GPS died before we got to 288! That's why I wasn't sure which lane to be in, glad you knew! ;) I somehow managed to find my way back to my brother's house, only to have no one here! They gave up and went to dinner without me :(

I will have photos to share sometime later, once I'm back home and have time to do so.

I seriously have over 50 mesquito bites. How the heck did they bite me through my jeans???? LOL! :)

It was a fun day, I really enjoyed meeting you and Amber and the horses.

Sucks that the cell phone AND the GPS went out at the same time. Modern technology - gotta love it.

On the way to Amber's I had followed the route Mapquest gave me and it took me on the toll road,  and then I missed the turnoff to 288 and had to go through three more tolls to get back to it - that kinda sucked, in addition to making me late.  On the way home, I thought "wonder what happens if I just stay on 288 - I wonder if it meets I-45" and sure enough it did.  Didn't take me nearly as long either.

You might have seen me peel off about half way up 288 -- I was watching my gas guage go down and didn't know how far to the next gas station so I thought I'd better not take any chances.

I don't have any moquito bites, but I have poison ivy around my ankle!  I had a pair of those really short socks and I guess when we went through to the field to get Bella and Missy there must have been poison ivy in the ditch.

Yup, I figured that must be where you leave. I was worried the GPS would take me on a toll road, so I didn't trust it 100%... it kept telling me to go different ways to her house vs the directions I had that I had gone over with my brother!

I just don't get how the mesquitos got me THROUGH MY JEANS!!! LOL! Poisen Ivy doesn't sound any funner! But the day was fun :)

I'm sorry to hear about ya'lls mishaps on your way home.  I am glad you both had a good time though.  I had fun too.  Anytime you want ya'll are welcome at my house.

Even better GPS receiver hooked up to a laptop screen. Heck of a lot easier to see than those portable ones, especially if you're near sighted like me, plus it plugs into cigarette lighter, therefore no dead batteries!!! LOL!!!
