It was time to part with my absolute bombproof gelding! Surprisingly he sold
very fast and to a good home, he know is enjoying the life of being ridden by 3
small children, with no competitions and just having fun. He didn't like the
competition aspect. This is the mare I purchased before his departure and
wanted some feedback from you guys. She is a Canadian Warmblood, she is just a
hair below 16'2hh and she is absolutely phenomenal. Obviously her stride and
everything else is much bigger than my 15hh QH. Plus she is not very marish at
all, she is my first mare in my riding life of 20 years I always had geldings, didn't know what I was
getting myself into, but so far she is not living up to the standards of what
you hear of mares. She is a real sweety and loves to work and please and is
very willing. We will be doing dressage and jumping and hopefully sometime,
when I get over my fears of my broken arm, will do cross country again.
Please let me know what you guys think! I will post some more pics of me
riding her when I get my fiancée out to come and take pics.
