LMBO about a lady who would get upset about you not having a sweat scraper!!  I mean, unless you're gonna work your horse into a lather or wet it down with a hose.... and even then the side of your hand words great.  Sorry you had trouble in a different forum, some people just get their panties all in a twist over the smallest stuff   I think that most of the folks here on EquiSearch are good and we share our help and opinions with good hearts, so hopefully you will have a better experience.  Welcome to the world of horse ownership! I have to admit we do have some disagreements around here but we always work it out.  And sometimes you just have to ignore people like the sweat scraper lady.  LOL, when I first got horses I used to use a plastic lid from a whip cream bowl .  Hey it worked

I heartily dislike people like that who get so haughty about everything. I really like Equisearch because people here can give advice and give it thoughtfully. I once put a video of my riding on a different forum (mind you, I'm a beginner and at the time of the video I had only been in consistent lessons for about five months) and a woman there told me 'I looked like a bag of potatoes.' My legs also used to swing while cantering and she said, "I took into account that you have not  been in hte saddle much in a while but still they were swinging as a green riders would." ...Hello? I am a GREEN rider!
