    critique my SB

I have never had a SB before and knew nothing about them when I got him. I have had him for a little more than a year. He hadn't been ridden in 5 years until I got him and I ride 3 to 4 times a week. We are now working on the canter. I would like to know what you gaited people think of him. I have found that many of my non- horsey friends and some of my horsey friends always comment on how beautiful my warmblood is. But no one ever comments on my Duke. I think he's beautiful. But, I think his head makes people thinks he's not. What do you all think? He is 12.

I tried to pull up your pictures, but they didn't work.  I copied and pasted.  It's hard when I can't see him.  You can e-mail the photos to me at krausng362@aim.com and maybe I can help.

Can you post them onto photobucket.com then give us the links?

The links didn't work, but I learned to use photobucket for posting.  It is really easy.  It took me 2 minutes to learn.

     Now I see him!

He looks very fit and well loved. His head is not bad.

I had an appy mare with the old ugly jug head. I would tell people she rode nice once you got past her uguly head. Everyone would end a ride on her and say how "she is not ugly". So pretty is as pretty does and your boy looks like he works well. I like seeing a fit horse with musle tone!!!! So he is very pretty to me... Big Smile
