Hi, I was wondering, I have a very nice pair of Dorking hunt boots that are black, and have the brown around the top. Really pretty I think.  I have been trying to figure out if this is ok for small shows.  Yes, I know it probably is, but my daughter does not want a judge saying something about them.I would put a pic of them but do not know how. I do not see any pics of anyone riding with these, only the plain black field boots.  I ride western so this english is kinda new to me!

 We just had a few Grand Prix Jumper competitions here and a good deal of the riders were in those boots. For the record, I looooove those boots. I would think for smaller shows they would be fine, and since they were worn in the Grand Prix level they might even be ok for higher rated shows. I'm not totally sure. Of course, it could be a jumper/hunter thing since they have different rules.What style does your daughter ride?

The boots are fine for shows -- I actually really like those kinds of boots, they look classy.  You can tell your daughter she will be in the clear. 

Never heard of these....what are they? cant seem to find on the internet.

 This is the style she is talking about but I also have never heard of Dorking. I just love the way this style of boot looks. Very timeless.
