I am Heidi, 22, and I own two horses, a 20+ year old paint horse gelding named Apaches and a 2000 Paso Fino/QH gelding named Cisco (hence my username). I have been a horse owner for over 5 years now. I got my first horse when I was 17, a 7 year old QH mare named Daisy. Daisy and I didn't click, however, so after fighting with attempting to train her and trying to sell her, I was offered Apaches in trade for her. Needless to say, I snatched him right up as he was the PERFECT gentleman and SUCH a sweetheart.

Around Thanksgiving time 2005, I looked at another horse for sale (the price was right and he was a wonderful horse), and that's where I got Cisco. He was a 5 year old in need of a LOT of training (had only 30 days of undersaddle training under his belt). I worked with him and trained him to become quite a nice horse undersaddle, though he still has some things to learn.

I have now owned Apaches for over 3 years now, and this coming November will mark 2 years with Cisco. I love my life with my horses and wouldn't change a thing :) They are my pride and joy!

Other random facts about me: I play the bass guitar, I hate onions, I am an avid reader, I am studying to become a Graphic Designer, I am a dachshund nut (own a 1 yr old miniature dachshund named Mandy), and my favorite color is blue.
