I do not own a horse, but did years ago. Had a horse that was a Heinz 57, a schooling horse before I owned him. Taught me a lot. I sold him and got a Standardbred that was trained to race, but I do not remember if he raced or not. I fox hunted, showed(no big shows, just local) and rode for pleasure. Sold my horse when I got married. I never really lost my passion for horses, just had other priorities, raising a family, etc. When we became empty nesters, my passion for horses kicked back in. If I do not get to own a horse again, I hope to at least take riding lessons someday.
