This could be caused by a few things. Does your saddle fit properly? Is it a treeless saddle? Treeless saddles, or so I've been told, can have a tendency to slip. If not, then it might just be your horse's back shape, and different padding in the saddle, that's preventing the saddle from "sticking". There are options, one would be a breastplate, the second would be a non-slip girth and/or saddle pad. Hope this helps!

I swear to God, sometimes I feel like the dumbest people I've met are in University. Ironically enough, the smartest people I know have no post-secondary education (and still do believe grammar is important and such). My mother tongue is french, english is only my second language (although.. sometimes, people don't believe this is true... I get looked at funny when I caution people to get EVERYTHING in writing (I was an aspiring lawyer, and got called by people for some free advice... lol) but I've seen it too many times here, and in "real life" as well, that some of nastiest legal problems are between friends or family. I'll usually wear an Underarmor shirt and a light long-sleeve if I'm doing a lot of active work. I'll wear a hooded sweater over if I need it. For the rest, I just throw on a snowboarding style coat. They're lightweight, and aren't too warm if you're moving around a little bit and usually have elastics at the wrists and an elastic belt at the waist to keep the cold air (and snow) from running up inside your coat.
