At BN, there should be NO jump associated with the water, it should be a simple run-through and you are allowed to trot.
Yhea, I know. But i think were doing Novice.

So me and Tuck are most likely going to start 3-day eventing. I am going to be working with a trainer, but while all the details get worked out, Id thought id ask you guys for help! What all do I need for eventing? How exactly do studs work? Does he need special shoes? Tuck's 1/2 shoed right now, will he need to be fully shoed? Ive been looking at Beta 3 certified vests. Does anyone have any brands or styles they like? Or dont like? Im thinking that our colors will be purple and black, since

I love the new bridle! But Im pretty sure if I put anything like that on Tuck, Id get the "Are you serious?" glare, and he'd find some way to get it off or tear it apart. Lol. And I love the pic of Pheo yawning. Cute!

So Tuck has come really far, but he still has some issues we need to work on. He's gotten a lot better about rounding and softening, until it comes to stopping. When I ask for him to halt, he pulls and streches out his neck. He even does it when my trainer gets on him. Ive tried asking softly and with more contact. He tends to throw his head when i use more contact. Do yall think that it is me or him? Could it be the bit?
