My 7 year old mare got out of her pen last night and got into some alfalfa hay, im not sure how much she got into, though according to my dad she had a "nibble" but she looks sick. My dad found her out while I was at work I walked her today to keep her moving, but im just curious if alfalfa hay will cause colic when there is too much ingested? Thanks

www.tacktrader.com also has some good deals.

I say no. It should be the buyer's responsibility to research the horse and try it out and the seller should be honest about their horse. We don't need standards bc people should be responsible for their actions.

My horse has hives all over her neck and body. I'm giving her medication but my question is can u ride a horse that has hives on the area where the saddle goes or the saddle blanket irritate it? Her hives are small bumps. Please reply soon as I'm a college student and I leave tommrow to go back to school and I want to ride my horse before I leave, Thanks

Dancer is doing well and is still in the isolation stall until the college recieves her Coggins Results. I think I got it, but it s a yellow slip of paper with her markings and numbers on it. I'm kinda of embarassed to say that I still miss her. I think about her all of the time and I can't wait to see her again. I feel bad for leaving her in a place where she dosen't know anyone. I hope they let her out and people come and visit her and she's not lonely. I wonder if she misses me

I know horses can't eat peanuts, but I give my horse peppermints and Little Debbie Oatmeal cream Cookies.

I think the lease depends on the owner.
